The PCORI Fee must be paid by issuers of specified health insurance policies and plan sponsors of applicable self-insured health plans.

Revised PCORI Fee for 2024:

Last year, for plan and policy years that ended on or after Oct. 1, 2022, and before Oct. 1, 2023, the PCORI fee was $3.00 per covered life.

This year, for plan and policy years that end on or after Oct. 1, 2023, and before Oct. 1, 2024, the PCORI fee is $3.22 per covered life.

PCORI Due date 2024:

The PCORI Fee must be paid before each year's due date. Failing to pay within the due date will result in penalties. The due date for 2024 is July 31, Wednesday.
